RNRM Full Form- Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife

RNRM Full Form: Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife is the full form RNRM or RN&RM.

RNRM is a license issued for Nurses who have successfully completed Nursing Courses from Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized institutions. State Nursing Council is the RNRM license issuing authority. Every state in india has their state nursing council as regulatory body at state level.

What are the courses eligible to be registered as RNRM?

To register as Registered Nurse & Registered Mid-wife, One should have completed Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (or) B.Sc in Nursing at entry level in to nursing. Nursing courses lower than diploma standard can not register them as RNRM.

Whether ANM Can register as RNRM?

No ANM Qualified individuals cannot register as RNRM. But they can register them as ANM in Nursing Council.

How to register as RNRM?

After completion of GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualifications you have to obtain Course Completion certificate, provisional certificate from the university or board. Then you have submit applications for RNRM registration in your respective state nursing council. You will be issued a RNRM Number which you can use it in your clinical practice.

Do i need to renew my RNRM?

Yes. Many states have cancelled permanent registration of RNRM license. You have to renew it every 5 years. It also varies across india. To renew, you also have to complete online CNE training session for minimum 150 hours.

Is it Mandatory to have RNRM Number while applying to any Nursing Job?

Yes. As a professional Nursing candidate, You must possess valid RNRM Registration certificate at the time of applying to any  Nursing Jobs in government sector or private sector.

RNRM qualified candidates have very good opportunities in government and private sectors. Nursing officers, Staff Nurses, Community Health Officers, Nursing Tutors are some example posts for RNRM qualifications.

Salary of RNRM

Candidates are paid from Rs.25,000 as a minimal pay at entry level as in 2023.
